I really enjoyed reading this issue. Jean, in spirit form, and Emma works together to save teen Jean from burning...literally. It was really entertaining to see them throw shade at each other.
Emma calls for backup, the cuckoos. She thought that it would take the four of them to pull jean from the Phoenix fire she once kept hidden inside her head. Their efforts were futile. Good thing Quentin showed up and was able to stop the teen jean from emitting fire from her body.

Enter Hope, who has been tracking energy surges around the globe. She definitely knew that Phoenix was coming. She was wrong.

The artwork on the cover is definitely good, better than the artwork inside.
The style of the artist gave an 80's vibe. Thick outlines, expressive faces and emphasis on philtrums ( the vertical groove on the surface of the upper lip, below the septum of the nose ). The artwork was consistently sketchy, rough and colors are pale in a good way. The writing was awesome!!! Perfect 10 for the cliffhanger he left me with on the last page!!!
Why is Rachel not here?
